A customer called Platinum Electrical Services to send an emergency electrician when she smelt burning at the electrical panel. The electrician discovered her dryer wires were not installed properly, creating arcing due to loose connections causing the wire to heat up past 90 degrees Celsius and began to melt the insulation of the wire. The electrician replaced the breaker in the panel as a precaution, fixed the wires and installed them properly.
