We installed a new Frigidaire cooktop counter to replace one that experienced an electrical issue. The original electric cooktop had malfunctioned after some water got inside and rusted the electrical connectors at one of the dials when the tenant turned it on there were sparks flying out. The electrician re-wired the new electric cooktop and siliconed it to avoid further issues.
